Dr. Baltazar Corcino, MD
Dr. Baltazar Corcino is a medical doctor with a longstanding history of internal medicine in the Clearfield area. Dr. Corcino graduated from the University of Santo Tomas School of Medicine of the Philippines in 1963. He has worked in various settings in the Clearfield area from emergency room, private practice and hospital settings.
Following his medical schooling, Dr. Corcino began his professional career in 1971 at the Clearfield Hospital where he pioneered the emergency room. Additionally he has worked at the Clearfield Professional Group (1988-2005), Clear Med Providers (2005-2014) and most recently at Penn Highlands Healthcare (2014-2020).
In his spare time Dr. Corcino enjoys watching sports, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is a big Penn State football fan. His passion for people is what keeps him working in the field and he is eager to welcome new patients at the clinic.
Dr. Richard Johnson, DO
Richard Johnson, DO completed undergraduate work at Thiel College in Greenville, PA, before enrolling in medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Art Center Hospital in Detroit stayed on as an internist for 10 more years.
During his years in Detroit, Johnson had the opportunity to see almost anything that can pop up in the medical profession, including the chance to treat some famous patients, such as Rosa Parks.
Johnson began practicing in Clearfield in 1980, and retired from the Clearfield Professional Group in 2022. He married hi wife, Ginny in 1970. The couple have three children, Kyle, Courtney, and Eric, and 10 grandchildren. Courtney followed family tradition and became a doctor of podiatry.
Megan Patrick, RN, RD, LDN
Practice Manager
Megan Patrick, a native of Clearfield, is the Practice Manager at the Susquehanna Wellness Clinic. Megan brings a diverse background to the clinic as she has played many roles in the medical setting.
She received her bachelor's of science degree in dietetics/nutrition from Western Kentucky University in 2000. As a registered dietitian, Megan worked in various settings including pediatrics, long-term care and dialysis for 13 years. A licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Megan worked in elder care as an administrator for 4 years before returning to school to receive an associates of science degree in nursing from Lock Haven University (2013). She worked as a registered nurse in dialysis and rehabilitative settings before joining the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging as the Director of Care Transitions and Assessments.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband and son and being active. Megan is a certified fitness instructor and devotes her free time to teaching classes at the Clearfield YMCA.
Sandra Turner, RN
Sandra Turner has been a nurse for 50 years. She started her nursing career by working at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota which is connected with the Mayo Clinic. It was an opportunity to see and provide care for conditions that sometimes are not seen in small town hospitals.
Later, she returned to study at Penn State and furthered her nursing experience at Altoona Hospital. Over her nursing career, she has worked as a staff nurse in a hospital, and worked for 26 years with the elderly at several nursing homes in the area, rising to the rank of Director of Nursing. She has also worked in hospice care, as a psych nurse in a prison, and as the Health Services Administrator at Houtzdale State Correctional Institution.
Sandra says, “My current position at the Susquehanna Wellness Clinic has rounded out my nursing career and I find it very satisfying and rewarding.”
Linda Young, LPN
Linda Young, a native of Clearfield, is a licensed practical nurse who specializes in geriatric nursing. She received her licensing from Clearfield Vocational-Technical Practical Nursing Program in 1986.
Young brings over 30 years' experience as an LPN with experience in nursing facilities and family practice. She is very passionate about geriatric nursing because “it emphasizes helping aging adults maintain their abilities and quality of life and that is the kind of nursing she wants to be a part of.”
In her spare time, Linda enjoys spending time with her husband Tom and her two children Ryan and Brittany. An animal lover, Linda has five dogs that she adores.
Brenda Weber, licensed pharmacist
Brenda Weber has nearly 35 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist. She provides in-home medicine box fills for SWC patients and AAA consumers. She also provides prescription consultations for those she serves, as well as for AAA care managers who serve clients, and she assists with care transitions for those coming home from a hospital stay with new prescriptions to organize.
“I think it’s a very valuable service. It gives them comfort knowing a professional who knows what they’re doing has taken care of organizing their prescriptions," Brenda says.
